JUMPCON - BOSTON July 18-20th,2008

Jumpcon is coming to New England, and the New England area's two Star Wars costume groups will be there over the course of the weekend. We will be interacting with fans from all over, and. we will have a table with information on the groups. We look forward to chatting with fans, and welcoming some of the Star Wars actors to the New England area.

Connecticon August 1-3rd Connecticut Convention Center

One of New England's larger multi-genre conventions that is held each year. The convention has a primary focii of web comics, anime, gaming and related genres - ConnectiCon is one of the few conventions to be held in the state. This year also marks a return of media guests to the convention, as they will also have their first media guest since Peter Mayhew attended back in 2004 !! Robert Picardo has been added to the guest listing for 2008.

This year Alderaan Base will be present, and meeting fans, and costumers alike, and discussing our group, prop making during panels at the convention, and we hope to see you at the event, and talk with many of the Star Wars fans in New England. Dragon*Con August 29 - September 1, 2009 Atlanta,Ga.

Dragon*Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US. Dragon*Con 2008 will be held Labor Day weekend (August 29 - September 1, 2008) in Atlanta, Georgia. This year marks the 22nd birthday of the convention, and a few of our members will be there representing various costume groups over the course of the 4 days. Some of the scheduled guests for this years convention include: Kevin J. Anderson, Anne McCaffrey, Todd McCaffrey, Sean Astin, Jamie Bamber, Gigi Edgley.
